Book Lovers Anonymous

Hi peeps,

Sorry for the lack of postings this week! I have a problem, you see.

At least I'm not a sex addict.

I'm a book addict. So when I pick up a good book, I tend to not put it down, regardless of chores/deadlines/the importance of getting a good night's sleep. And if that book happens to be 900+ pages, well ... I leave reality for long periods of time.

Unless a baby cries. That always snaps me right back to the baby food-encrusted yoga pants/not-so-showered/house is a complete disaster reality. Boo.

Anyhoo, I'm happy to say that book is finished (until I get the next one in the series ... ) and I can now return to normal human functioning! Except without daily showers and a good night's sleep.

To make up for my posting shortage, I'll be coming at y'all with a veritable blitzkrieg of posts in the next few days.

Okay, two. Maybe three.

Next time I'll warn you BEFORE I start a book so you won't think I've been kidnapped by oompa loompas.

Which now that I think about it, I kind of have.

At least they're cute!
