Hallooo!
I have a last minute Valentine idea for all you slackers. It's insanely easy and insanely cheesy. But that's okay!
The best part was my house smelled like melted crayons for a few hours. It takes me back to the time my brothers and I stuck crayons in the baseboard heater. Ah, those were the days.
You will need:
crayons
a candle
matches
paper
toothpicks
And here's the super simple process:
1. Draw a heart outline.
2. Remove the paper from the end of the crayon (you know, so you don't light something on fire ... not that I'm speaking from experience or anything ...)
3. Get the end of the crayon all melty over a candle. It melts surprisingly fast, so be quick!
4. Fill in your heart outline with the meltiness. You might need to reheat your crayon a few times.
5. Once the wax has dried, add a fluffy saying. I went with, "You melt my heart" cuz of the whole melty thing. You could also do, "I love you" or "XOXO" or even, "I really wish you would put your freaking socks in the hamper".
I also made this melted crayon art using the same process:
It's melty and rainbow-y and fluffy-y! Hooray!
